چکیده
This paper aims to Create a Retrospective study evaluate patients with osteoporosis associated proximal femur fracture. A retrospective analysis from 22-3-2020 11-4-2021 was performed on for the purpose of evaluating fracture, where 50 ages ranging 60 80 years were collected.
Data and demographic information about collected Al-Anbar Hospital Iraq. The divided into two groups. (Group fracture 30 group without 20 patients) outcomes results comparison has created between control in terms body mass index age addition physical activity calcium intake. With low BMI, they are more protective

Osteoporosis, falls, and age in fracture of the proximal femur.
The relative importance of osteoporosis and risk of falling in causing hip fracture is not known. Femoral neck bone mass was measured in 708 elderly people, all of whom had fallen and injured a hip. Below 75 years of age there was a steep increase in relative risk of fracture with reduced bone mass, measured by Singh grade. Above that age the increase in risk was small, and neuromuscular respon...
متن کاملEffects of Hip Geometry on Fracture Patterns of Proximal Femur
Background: Some studies have previously shown that geometry of proximal femur can affect the probability of fracture and type of fracture. It happens since the geometry of the proximal femur determines how a force is applied to its different parts. In this study, we have compared proximal femur’s geometric characteristics in femoral neck (FNF), intertrochanteric (ITF) and Subtrochanteric (ST...
متن کاملRetrograde Intramedullary Nailing for Distal Femur Fracture with Osteoporosis
BACKGROUND The incidence of distal femur fracture in the elderly has been increasing recently, and commonly occurs with osteoporosis. Retrograde intramedullary nailing has been considered a good surgical option for distal femur fracture. The purpose of the present study was to present our surgical results with retrograde intramedullary nailing for distal femur fractures with osteoporosis. MET...
متن کاملOpen vertical sagittal fracture patella with fracture lateral condyle femur: approach to a rare injury
Patellar fracture is a relatively uncommon fracture especially the vertical sagittal type. In cases of high energy trauma injury, it is usually associated with fracture of ipsilateral distal femur or proximal tibia. However, the combination of vertical sagittal fracture patella and ipsilateral fracture lateral condyle is very rare. This necessitates judicious diagnosis and appropriate managemen...
متن کاملConservative Treatment for Fracture of the Proximal Femur with Complications.
UNLABELLED We retrospectively compared two groups of patients with hip fractures and severe complications. One group had been treated surgically; the other group had been treated conservatively to prevent worsening of general status, with transfer to wheelchair as soon as possible. This study aimed to determine if early prognosis after conservative treatment would be worse than that following s...
